Santiago A. Sagredo

Born in Burgos and based in Santander, Santiago A. Sagredo uses photography as a means of observation, introspection, and communication with the world around him. His focus has been especially drawn to urban life and the relationship between human beings and their environment. Through his lens, he seeks both to learn to love what he sees and to discover what he longs to see.

With a traveler’s spirit, his images drift between reality and imagination, guided by the firm belief that what is not seen is often more important than what is visible.

He is passionate about exploring spaces, cities, and landscapes, capturing his photographic vision in books. Some of these have been published in traditional format, such as Santander en la línea del mar (1998) and Burgos, el tiempo acumulado(2002), along with more than thirty titles released in digital editions.
